In loving memory of Steven Stuart Smith, also known as Stevie, he passed away on November 1, 2023, at the age of 63 in Thompson, MB.

Born on February 8, 1960, in Winnipeg, MB. Steve was a loving partner to Corrine Linklater and father to his children, Katniss, Madison, Stephanie, Thomas, and Sabrina. Steve's father, Thomas Smith, and mother, Agatha Neuman, preceded him in death.

Steve had a kind and generous nature, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. He was known to be a true friend, ready to give the clothes off his back or share the food from his cupboards. Steve's selflessness and compassion touched the lives of many.

In his professional life, Steve worked as a chef, with his most recent employment being with Sodexo for the Keyask crew. His culinary skills were admired by all who had the pleasure of tasting his creations.

Outside of work, Steve most enjoyed just being with the people he loved.

Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held in the near future at Boardman Funeral Home in Thompson, MB. The specific time and date will be announced on their website at www.boardmanfh.com.
