Carrie Lynn Maples Obituary

Carrie Lynn Reeder Maples, 63, passed away on Wednesday, November 1, 2023, at her home in Sardis, MS. She was born on Fort Worth, TX, on March 29, 1960, to JoAnn Harrison Reeder and John T. Reeder.


Carrie was a member of Senatobia First Methodist Church, in Senatobia, MS. She loved being outdoors, especially at the lake. She enjoyed taking care of her house plants, four cats and making crafts in her spare time. She loved her family and was a devoted mother and grandmother.


Left to cherish her memory is her family, two daughters, Amber Moore (Randall) and Melanie Edwards (John) all of Senatobia, MS; two sons, Paul Buford (Kim) of Senatobia, MS and Jay Buford (Heather) of Independence, MS; two sisters, Charlinda Glover of Glen Rose, TX and Tonda Gillentine of Sweetwater, TX; two brothers, Darrel Reeder of Blackjack, MS and Brian Reeder of Arkansas; twenty grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Linwood Maples and her parents.


A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 12 p.m., on Monday, November 6, 2023, at Senatobia First Methodist Church.
