Garry Rhodus, age 74, passed away peacefully on October 29, 2023, in Richmond, KY, with his family around him. Born in Madison County, KY, to the late Mason and Onita Seals Rhodus, Garry is remembered for a life of diligent work and faithful character.

Garry was a handyman and an appreciator of life's simple pleasures. He served as a trusted welder for L&N Railroad and a responsible caretaker for Madison County Memorial Gardens. Each responsibility was carried out with dedication, reflecting his modest, intelligent, and loyal service to those around him.

He is survived by his daughter, Cyndi Rhodus, his son, Scott Rhodus, two loving sisters, Linda (Ray) Calico, and Brenda (Burton) Legear, and cherished grandchildren; Andrew Rhodus, Emily Sipes, Justin and Joseph Brandenburg, Anna Rhodus, and Emma Spangler. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patsy Delph, his parents, Mason and Onita, and his daughter, Patti Rhodus.

As Garry's journey concludes, memories of him linger and his spirit remains as a touching tribute to a life well-lived.

A memorial service celebrating his life will take place November 11, 2023, at Middletown Baptist Church in Berea, KY.

The family will receive friends beginning at 2 PM and services will begin around 3 PM.
