Willie Earl Carter Sr., 61, of Belzoni, died Monday, February 19, 2018
at him home .

Willie was born in Humphreys County on March 24th, 1956 the son of Robert William Carter and Elsie Mae Matlock Carter.
He is a lifetime resident of Humphreys County, and worked in the Catfish Farming Industry. He was a very hard work, who worked to make a better life for his family.
He is preceded in death by his parents; bother, Joe Wesley Carter; and two sisters, Peggy Sue Johnson and Elsie Mae Cuevas.
He is survived by his son, Willie E. Carter, Jr.; daughter, Megen Barnes (Lester); brother, James Ray Carter; two sisters LaWanda Dennis and Mildred Broomhall; and four grandchildren, Johnny Flemmons, Matthew Barnes, Mary Elizabeth Carter, and Leslie Mae Barnes.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date in Columbus, MS.
