<p>ORRINGTON - Sarah “Anne” Watkins, 84, passed away peacefully on October 23, 2023, at a Bangor Hospital. She was born October 1, 1939, in Greenville Junction, the daughter of Harold A. and Alvina E. (Tanguay) Graham.</p><p><br></p><p> Sarah, commonly called Anne, was raised in Greenville and graduated from Greenville High School. She was a longtime member of St. Paul the Apostle Parish, St. Teresa’s Catholic Church. Her passions were playing cribbage and other games and puzzles, taking care of the many children in her life, and cats. She was dearly loved and will be sadly missed by her family.</p><p><br></p><p>She is survived by her children, Deborah Watkins and wife Kristina Watkins of Ann Arbor, MI, John Watkins of Orrington; a brother, Urban Graham; grandchildren, Juliet, Gwenivere, and Xander Watkins. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband James Watkins in 2017; siblings, Albert “Skip” Graham, Leon Graham, and John Graham. </p><p><br></p><p>A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 1:00 PM, Friday, October 27, 2023, at St. Paul the Apostle Parish, St. Teresa’s Catholic Church, 425 S. Main Street, Brewer, followed by the Rite of Committal at Marston Cemetery, Orrington. Following Committal Prayers, relatives and friends are invited to share conversation and refreshments in the Family Reception Rooms of Brookings-Smith, 55 S. Main Street, Brewer. In lieu of flowers, gifts in her memory may be made to the Old Town Animal Orphanage, P.O. Box #565, Orono, ME 04473. Condolences to the family may be expressed at BrookingsSmith.com.</p>
