Mr. Gerald Montgomery Snead, age 94 of Baskerville, died Thursday, October 19, 2023. He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Ann Walker Snead and is survived by his sons, James M. Snead (Sharon) and David L. Snead (Sandra) both of Baskerville. Also surviving are his grandchildren Jami L Snead, Brian M. Snead and Madison T. Snead and four great grandchildren.

Mr. Snead was a farmer and a member of Zion Church. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and sharing his love of music with the steel guitar.

A private graveside service will be conducted at 11am on Monday, October 23, 2023 at Crestview Memorial Park, LaCrosse VA. Memorial considerations in his memory may be directed to Zion Church.
