Judith (Judy) Lynn McDaniel, passed away peacefully on October 5, 2023, at the age of 82 in Redmond, Oregon. Born on June 25, 1941, in Kewanee, Illinois, Judy was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Judy was known for her loving, funny, and kind nature. She brought laughter and joy to those around her. She loved spending time with her family and cherished every moment with them. Judy had a special bond with her three sons and their wives: Ron and Linda Schoonmaker, Ed and Teresa Schoonmaker, Keith and Cindy Schoonmaker, as well as her daughter and her fiancé, Lynn Johnston and Wayne Louie. She was a proud grandmother to Jennifer Nowak, Melissa Walker, Stephanie Rocheleau, Katharine Colvin, John Schoonmaker, Geoffrey Schoonmaker, Rochelle Perry, and Justin Schoonmaker. Judy was also blessed with 14 great-grandchildren.

Judy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Skip, her father Wayne Waggener, and her mother Margie Barnfield. She leaves behind her sister and brother-in-law, Jacki and Don Goddard, who will miss her dearly.

Judy was a member of Highland Baptist Church, where she found solace and strength in her faith. She cherished the time she spent worshiping and connecting with her community at the church.

In her free time, Judy enjoyed going to the coast and road trips with her husband, spending quality time with her family, and showering affection on her beloved dog, Lucy and her many other dogs throughout her life. She enjoyed going to the park and going on walks. She also had a fondness for visiting Walmart and cherished the opportunity to catch up with her friends.

A Celebration of Life service will be held in Redmond, Oregon to honor Judy's memory.
