Junior L. Nix

Junior Lee Nix was born October 11, 1932 in Lindsay, Oklahoma to parents, Arlie and Velma (Duggan) Nix. He served his country in the Army during the Korean War. Junior was a hardworking man, he drove truck for many years, and towards the end of his career he operated a demolition and scrap metal yard. Junior is survived by his two sons, Richard Nix and wife Ida, and William and wife Kim; six grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Peters Funeral Home in Shafter, on Sunday, February 11, from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. Graveside services will be held at Wasco Memorial Park, on Monday, February 12, 2018 beginning at 10:00 a.m. Pastor Neil McClenny of Riverview So. Baptist Church will officiate.
