Jeanne Marie “Pat” Ensor, 91, of Westminster, formerly of Howard and Montgomery Counties, passed away on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at Sinai Hospital. Born in Washington, D.C., on January 21, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Harry Arthur Patterson and Mary Jane Cochrane. She was the beloved wife of the late Joshua Daniels Ensor. She earned her pilot’s license before her driver’s license at the age of 18 while attending Western Maryland College. It was at WMC where she met her future husband, Josh, whom she married in 1948 on the day she graduated with her bachelor’s degree. Jeanne "Pat" was the Director of the YMCA for Maryland; marketing director for Ferris, Baker, Watts and Eyre Bus Service of Glenelg; sat on the Board of Directors for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce; and was an Associate Pastor for local Methodist churches. In addition, Jeanne volunteered for several organization in every community she lived. Even with her many professional accomplishments, she was most proud of her family. Surviving Jeanne are her children and spouses Carole and Ron Asbury of Bethany Beach, Delaware, John and Jackie Ensor of Mt. Airy, Douglas Ensor and Corinne Baldwin of Brookeville; and Pastor Donald and Carolyn Ensor of Spokane, Washington; 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Friday, March 2 from 6 to 8 pm and Saturday March 3 from 10 to 11 am at Pritts Funeral Home, 412 Washington Rd, Westminster. A memorial service will be held on March 3 at noon in Little Baker Chapel on the campus of McDaniel College.
