Judy was a loving and generous mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and neighbor. She spent many years caring not only for her children, but the children of others. Her life was filled with many joyous and sorrowful moments with the early passing of her own children. Judy enjoyed the opportunity to help watch children in the neighborhood where she lived with her husband Jim for many decades. Judy eventually moved to Gainesville, Ga. where she lived in the care of family and ultimately the kind staff and friendly residents at Hamilton Place.
Judy loved to laugh. She loved to make others laugh. She enjoyed spending time with friends, family, and loved ones. These were the riches Judy Mae Metcalf sought in life.
Funeral Services will be held at McDonald & Sons Funeral home in Cumming, GA. The burial service will be performed at Warsaw Cemetery in Johns Creek, Ga.
