Mary Lou Stelfox

Mary Lou Stelfox, age 84, was called Home to join her late husband Richard J. Stelfox, on February 3, 2018, at her home in Clawson, MI after a brief struggle with cancer. Mary Lou was born February 13, 1933 in Ferndale, Michigan, the daughter of Louis and Mary Dolan. Mary Lou and Richard enjoyed spending time cruising Woodward in their classic cars. Mary Lou also enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was an active member of The Red Hat Society, and enjoyed taking her granddaughter, Ruby Lou, to the luncheons. She volunteered her time at Royal Oak Beaumont Hospital in the Imaging Department. As a lifelong resident of Clawson, Mary Lou loved attending Clawson's 4th of July parade and fireworks each summer. Mary Lou's other favorite summer pastime was listening to the Detroit Tigers on the radio. Surviving Mary Lou are her six children; Mike Stelfox and his daughters Sara, Katelyn, and April; Diane and Chris Bullock; Sue Ann Stelfox and Richard Plock and their son Mason; Joyce and Bill Jardine and their children Joe and Heidi; Ray and Cheryl Stelfox; and Janice and Jeremy Goldstein and their children Jack and Ruby. Mary Lou also leaves behind her loyal and beloved cat Goosie.
