Yvonne M. Suber
Kennedy- Yvonne M. Suber, 66, of Mud Creek Road, Kennedy, passed away Saturday (February 3, 2018) in Mercy Hospital in Buffalo. She was born December 2, 1951 in Jamestown, the daughter of the late Dean and Winifred M. (Powers) Miller. Yvonne was a graduate of Cassadaga Central School and retired in 2011 from the Randolph Central School Gail Chapman Elementary after 29 years as a teacher’s aide. In earlier years she had worked at Bush Brothers in Little Valley. She was a social member of the Randolph American Legion Post 181 and post retirement enjoyed monthly lunches with her co-workers from Randolph Central School. Yvonne will be remembered for her love of her family and caring for her grandson Kalen. Her life was one of joy and children from all walks of life gravitated to her, including her nieces and nephews, the fresh air children from NYC that she hosted and to her Foreign Exchange daughter Nione Claudino of Brazil. She also enjoyed traveling and was closing in on all 50 states, before her untimely passing on Saturday. She is survived by two daughters; Rebecca Suber and her son Kalen Suber of Kennedy and Tania Suber of Frewsburg, seven siblings, Pamela (Tim) Marsh of Kennedy, Alfred (Sandra) Morton of North Collins, Ricky (Eula) Morton of Salamanca, Dean E. (Teresa) Miller of Michigan, Amy (the late Tony) Culver of East Randolph, Catherine (Jim) Wilcox of Cattaraugus and Patricia Clark of Jamestown. She was preceded in death by her parents and a niece Anastasia Mosher on July 9, 2012. The family will receive family and friends from 11-1 Wednesday in the VanRensselaer & Son Funeral Home, 14 Church Street, Randolph. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 P.M. with the Rev. W.
