Beecher- Sue A. VandenBush, 77, of Beecher, Wisc., passed away Tuesday, October 10, 2023, at her home, surrounded by family.

She was born April 13, 1946, in Green Bay, Wisc., daughter of the late Lawrence and Germaine (Detry) Schoen. Sue grew up and attended school in Green Bay. She married Mark VandenBush on May 1, 1987, in Green Bay. Sue worked for Super Valu Warehouse until her retirement and also co-owned and operated Duck Creek Windows with Mark until 2008, when they moved to Beecher. Mark preceded Sue in death on March 22, 2010.

She enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with her family and friends.

Sue is survived by her daughter, Dawn (Ryan) Baker, one son, Mike (Gyla) Nys Jr.; three brothers, Randy (Dorothy) Schoen, Richard (JoAnn) Schoen and Mike (Darlene) Schoen; four sisters, Berdeen Snyder, Karen Lyng, Patti (Peter) Meyer, Tina (Scott) Belongia; and three grandsons, Alec and Tanner Nys and Allen Gustafson.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mark, Sue was preceded in death by her daughter, Robin Nys; one brother, Bill (Ginny) Schoen; two sisters, Mary (Horace) Morris and Terri Schmude; brothers-in-law, John Synder and Scott Lepp; and by her dog, Maggie.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the Jacob Funeral Home-Niagara Chapel, Niagara, Wisc. The celebration of life will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
