<p>Linda M. Tesno Zimmerman, 83, of Middletown, passed away Thursday, October 5, 2023, in the M.S. Hershey Medical Center. </p><p><br></p><p>Born in Ashland on August 29, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Gladys Tesno.</p><p><br></p><p>Linda was a 1958 graduate of the former Hummelstown High School. She worked as a receptionist for various companies, but her main job was being a fulltime mother. Linda attended Stoverdale United Methodist Church. She loved her family and was always there to help them when they needed it. Linda’s favorite hobby was playing bingo.</p><p><br></p><p>In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Harold E. Zimmerman, on June 17, 2005; and her son, Douglas E. Zimmerman.</p><p><br></p><p>Linda is survived by her daughter, Susan M. Charles wife of Lee W. of Middletown; Derek and Kristopher Charles and their families; her companion, Arthur Rhoads, Jr. of Middletown; and several Tesno cousins.</p><p><br></p><p>A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family.</p>

Obituary

Linda M. Tesno Zimmerman, 83, of Middletown, passed away Thursday, October 5, 2023, in the M.S. Hershey Medical Center.


Born in Ashland on August 29, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Gladys Tesno.


Linda was a 1958 graduate of the former Hummelstown High School. She worked as a receptionist for various companies, but her main job was being a fulltime mother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Harold E. Zimmerman, on June 17, 2005; and her son, Douglas E. Zimmerman.


Linda is survived by her daughter, Susan M. Charles wife of Lee W. of Middletown; Derek and Kristopher Charles and their families; her companion, Arthur Rhoads, Jr. of Middletown; and several Tesno cousins.


A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family.
