Elmos Eugene Troglen

Elmos Eugene Troglen, age 75 of Bone Cave, Tennessee passed from this life on Friday, September 29, 2023, at Hospice House in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.

Eugene was born Wednesday, February 11, 1948 in Spencer, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Elmos Franklin Troglen and the late Geneva Christine Berryhill Troglen.

He served in the US Army and was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy.

Eugene is survived by his:

wife - Joanie Slatton Troglen

son - Donald Eugene Troglen and wife Christy

daughter - Sherry Joan Pendergrass and husband William

5 grandchildren- Laci Cope and husband Kenneth, Ashley Turner and husband Kevin, Donovan Troglen and Sidney, Barron Pendergrass, and Kaylah Pendergrass

5 great grandchildren - Kelton Cope, Kyson Turner, Draxton Turner, Adaline Troglen, and one on the way Luke Cope.

2 sisters - Pansy Watson and Shirley Keen and husband Malcolm

Several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends also survive.

In addition to his parents, Eugene was preceded in death by his sister Linda Brymer and a brother Danny Troglen.

A Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Tuesday at Spencer Funeral Home with Thelma Roby and Carl Seibers officiating. Interment will be in Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Smartt, TN.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, October 2, 2023, and again Tuesday from 8 AM - 2 PM at Spencer Funeral Home, 16000 Hwy 111 N., Spencer, Tennessee.
