<p>Donald Leroy Hilzer, 84, of Harrisburg, passed away Monday, September 25, 2023, at his home.</p><p><br></p><p>Born in Scottsbluff, NE, on January 19, 1939, he was the son of the late George and Lydia Specht Hilzer. </p><p><br></p><p>Don retired as a warehouse worker for Fender Guitar, Fullerton, CA, and from Gilette, Corona, CA. He was a member of Ascension Lutheran Church, Harrisburg. An avid square dancer, he loved dancing with the Cocalico Squares in Buena Park, CA. </p><p><br></p><p>Don is survived by two daughters, Kayla D. Orange wife of Stacey of Harrisburg, and Kristine A. Greer wife of Anthony of Clackamas, OR; one son, Roderick Hilzer of Vancouver, Canada; three grandsons, Timothy M. Orange, Zachary R. Orange and Ethan R. Hilzer; and three great grandchildren, Emery Orange, Breelyn Orange, and Sawyer Orange.</p><p><br></p><p>A private service will be held by the family.</p><p><br></p><p>Trefz & Bowser Funeral Home, Inc., 114 West Main Street, Hummelstown, is entrusted with his arrangements.</p>Obituary
