Mary L Seprish Obituary

Mary L. Seprish, 81, of Hawk Run, passed away peacefully at the Mount Nittany Medical Center on Wednesday, September 20, 2023. Born on April 4, 1942, in Clearfield, she was the daughter of the late John Howard and Mildred (Smith) Frantz. On May 29, 1971, in Bradford, she married Andrew M. ”Andy” Seprish. Andy passed away on January 19, 2010.


Mary was a 1961 graduate of West Branch High School. She worked in the Housekeeping Department at Penn State for over 20 years, retiring in 2004. Prior to working at Penn State, Mary worked as a cook at Clarence Elementary School and at Rees’ Truck Stop for many years. She was of the protestant faith.


Mary was a member of the Liberty Twp. Sportsman Club and enjoyed camping at their campground. Mary’s life was centered around her family and treasured every moment with them, especially her grandchildren.


Mary is survived by her son, Ronald W. Seprish, Sr. of Hawk Run; her daughter, Crystal D. Biggans and her husband, Mike, of Kylertown; and two stepsons: Andrew M. Seprish of Snow Shoe and Eugene L. Seprish and his wife, Sandra, of Waukesha, WI. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, one brother, Robert Frantz and his wife, Ruth, of Hawk Run, and many nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.


Along with her parents and husband, Mary was preceded in death by a brother, John Frantz and two sisters: Shirley Ann Frantz and Jean Schmoke.


Visitation will be on Monday, September 25, 2023, from 2pm – 4pm and 6pm – 8pm at the Daughenbaugh Funeral Home, Inc in Snow Shoe. Funeral service will be on Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at 11am, at the funeral home, with Pastor Warren Shultzaberger officiating. Graveside services will follow at the St. Michaels Catholic Cemetery in Snow Show Twp.
