Holly Gay DelliQuadri Obituary

On Saturday, October 15, 2022, Holly DelliQuadri passed away. As Holly would have me say, she left this Earth journey to go onto the next dimension. She was 62 years old. Holly was preceded in death by her mother, Gloria Dell (nee Kingsley); father, Paul Dell; sisters Sheila Davis, Joy Thrasher, Jill Jackson; and Christine DelliQuadri; and Tantra (her cat). She is survived by daughter, Cherish Star Wittenberg (son in-law, Bob Wittenberg); granddaughter, Rylie Wittenberg; grandson, Jackson Wittenberg; brother, Paul Anthony DelliQuadri; life-time domestic partner / soulmate, Jacqueline Martin, God daughter, Shelby Martin; and many nieces and nephews; and Déjà Vu, Jade, and Jacob (her cats).

Holly was the youngest of six siblings. She was born and raised in Reno. She spent time in Ocean Shores, WA to be with family, and Palm Beach, CA at the Two Bunch Palms Resort where she worked for some time. She also worked at the Plaza Resort Club where she sold timeshares. Holly attended college and received certificates in dream analysis, metaphysics, and also became a very skilled Certified Massage Therapist (CMT).

Holly shall be remembered for her tenacious capability to love through the good and the bad, and to forgive when the good briefly turns bad. She was gifted with an ample capacity to love all living things, such as family, friends, animals, plants, and even insects. Although her most admirable gift was her ability to nurture those she loved. If you’re reading this then you likely know her love. She enjoyed fishing, visits to the beach, deep conversations, and she especially loved cats. I like this Irish proverb about love and death: “Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal.” Life ends, love does not.

“Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened.” --- Dr. Seuss

“The song is ended but the melody lingers on.” --- Irving Berlin
