Helen Bulaich Preuit, 96, passed away on Thursday, September 14, 2023 in the comfort of her home.

Helen was born to John and Mary Galaznik Bulaich in Galveston, TX and was raised there until she married and moved to Houston. She was married to Lester Preuit for 51 years until his passing in 2000. They relocated to Angleton upon retirement to be near family. She lived a vibrant life as a Mother, homemaker and gardener and in her later years enjoyed dominoes, card games and the Houston Astros with her friends and family.

Helen was very proud of and beloved by her entire family. She is survived by three children Donald Preuit (Linda) of Angleton, TX, Kathleen Zimmerman of Houston, TX and Mary Tinsley (Doug) of Canton, GA. She also leaves behind six grandchildren, Jennifer Burris (Will), Donald Preuit, Jr., Melanie Ray, Micheal Preuit (Laura), Erin Caro (Edgar) and Christina Tinsley. In addition, she leaves behind 10 Great Grandchildren.

A memorial service and celebration of life will be held at her church, St. John Lutheran Church, 2227 North Downing Road, Angleton, TX 77515 at 2pm on Saturday, September 23, 2023. In lieu of flowers, Helen requested contributions be made to the Altar Guild at St. John or to the charity of your choice.
