Robert Sheldon Anderson Obituary

Robert Sheldon Anderson. a resident of Berwick died Thursday morning, September 14, 2023 at Edgewood Nursing Centre in Portsmouth, NH. He was 87.


Robert was born in Caribou, ME on September 9, 1936, a son of John D. and Leona F. (St. Peter) Anderson and graduated from Caribou High School.


Robert married his wife, Leona F. Davis in 1955 and together they raised their three children in the Berwick, ME area. In 1966 he entered the US Army and served for over 26 years.


In his spare time, Robert enjoyed chopping wood, building things, maintaining small engines, and spending time with family, especially his grandchildren.


Robert was predeceased by his parents, his beloved wife, Leona (St. Peter) Anderson in 2007 and by a brother, Howard Anderson.


Survivors include his children, Paul Anderson, Peter Anderson and Roberta Anderson, all of Berwick; a brother, Arthur Anderson of Madbury, NH; five grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.


There are no calling hours. A graveside service will be held at 1PM on Friday, September 22, 2023 at Forest Glade Cemetery in Somersworth, NH.
