<p>Glenna Jean Clifford, 90, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday August 31st, 2023, at her residence in Plymouth.</p><p><br></p><p>Glenna was born on May 12th, 1933, the daughter of late Walter and Florence (George) Merrill.</p><p><br></p><p>Glenna was the youngest of eleven children. She lived her early life in East Hebron at the family campground on Newfound Lake. While living on Newfound Lake, she once swam across the lake from Merrill’s Campground beach to Hebron Town Beach on her own. During her early twenties she worked at Ayer Insurance for a few years. She then met Arnold B Clifford who she married in 1953 and they started a family. </p><p><br></p><p>Throughout her life, Glenna loved to garden, feed and watch birds, word searches, and was a diehard fan and participant of bingo. As well as an avid NASCAR fan.</p><p><br></p><p>Glenna is survived by her two children, son Kenneth Clifford, and daughter Joanne Nelson who is married to husband Robert Nelson. She has three grandsons, Wade Clifford, Nicholas Clifford and Brett Nelson as well as many nieces, nephews, and some great grandchildren.</p><p><br></p><p>Glenna will be laid to rest next to her husband at Riverside Cemetery in Plymouth. </p><p><br></p><p>There will be no services at this time.</p>

Glenna Jean Clifford, 90, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday August 31st, 2023, at her residence in Plymouth.


Glenna was born on May 12th, 1933, the daughter of late Walter and Florence (George) Merrill.


Glenna was the youngest of eleven children. She lived her early life in East Hebron at the family campground on Newfound Lake.
