Kenneth L. Schreffler, Sr.

<p>Kenneth L. Schreffler, Sr., 83, of Bellefonte passed away at Mount Nittany Medical Center on Sunday, September 10, 2023. Ken was born in Bellefonte on August 13, 1940, the son of the late Carl E. Schreffler, Sr. and Dorothy K. (Runkle) Schreffler. On February 26, 1960, he married the former Antionette B. “Toni” Rozgay (Schreffler) who preceded him in death on December 16, 2003. He is survived by his children, Kenneth L. Schreffler, Jr. of Lock Haven, Vincent E. (Janna) Schreffler of Loganton, Robert M. (Mary Jane) Schreffler, Sr. of Howard, Janell (Tim) Howe of Bellefonte; his siblings, Carl E. (Esther) Schreffler, Jr. of Bellefonte, Robert (Connie) Schreffler of State College, Ron (Laurel) Schreffler, Timothy (Lynda) Schreffler, Gail “Kathy” (Mike) Laird all of Bellefonte and his brother James’s significant other, Cindy Bartley of New Mexico. Ken is also survived by his 6 grandchildren, Robert M (Abby) Schreffler, Jr., Allan B. (Nikki) Schreffler, Nicholas W. Howe, Elizabeth C. Schreffler, Nathan V. Schreffler, Andrew Howe, his great granddaughter, Avery M. Schreffler and numerous nieces and nephews. Along with his parents and wife he was preceded in death by his brothers, Jackie Schreffler, James Schreffler; his sister, Donna Witter and his grandson, Luke William Howe.</p><p>Ken was a graduate of Bellefonte High School and worked at Cerro Metal Products until his retirement. He was a member of the Young Democratic Club, the Clarence Moose, the Bellefonte Elks Lodge #1094. and 3 Point Sportman Club. Ken enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time at camp. He enjoyed a good card game, planting his flowers and doing home projects.</p><p>Family and friends will be received at the Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc. on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 from 6 PM to 8 PM. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, September 14, 2023 at 10 AM with Deacon Thomas Boldin officiating. Burial will be in St. John Catholic Cemetery.</p><p>The family would like to give a special thank you to the PA-C and the Nursing Staff at Mt.
