BREWER - Dennis B. Flood, 59, passed away August 20, 2023 after battling a long illness. He was born October 25, 1963, in New Bedford, Massachusetts, the son of the late Ernest J. and the late Helen M. (Hawes) Flood.

Born at St. Lukes Hospital, New Bedford, he lived in Dartmouth. He had his own business, DB’s Carpentry, for over 20 years building new construction, renovating interiors, and building custom decks.

He moved to Bangor, Maine in 2005 with his life partner, Susana Luce to be closer to his son, Dennis B. Flood Jr.

He enjoyed spending time with Susana Luce; going for rides, gardening, listening to 70’s music especially Led Zeppelin, and watching movies. He was very proud of his son, and especially enjoyed spending time with him watching Godzilla movies and other old monster movies.

In addition to his domestic partner of more than 18 years, Susana Luce, of Brewer, he is survived by his son, Dennis B. Flood Jr., of Bangor; a brother, Ernest J. Flood, of Massachusetts; and a sister, June Moreno, of Maine.
