Albert led a fulfilling life, finding joy in the simple pleasures that nature had to offer. He had a passion for farming, ranching, fishing, and hunting, which allowed him to connect with the great outdoors. Polka music echoed through his home, as he was an avid collector of CDs and vinyl records, cherishing their nostalgic melodies. His love for Western movies and comedies brought countless hours of laughter and entertainment into his life.

He worked diligently in Mag Cells as an Operator, serving loyally until his retirement. His commitment and dedication to his craft were commendable, earning him the respect and admiration of his colleagues.

In retirement, Albert cherished the fellowship and camaraderie shared with his fellow retirees at the monthly Tuesday lunches. These gatherings provided an opportunity for them to reminisce about their careers, share stories, and support one another during this new stage of life.

Albert will be deeply missed by his surviving relatives, including his brothers Greg Zapalac and David Zapalac, as well as his cherished cousins: Lillie Ann Zapalac, Lewis "Cooks" Zapalac, Jim Zapalac, Michael Lewis Zapalac (Brandi), Pedro Leal (Jessica), Mateo Leal, George Todd (Lisa), and Jacob Todd. Their memories of Albert will forever be etched in their hearts as they remember his unwavering love, support, and genuine friendship.
