Frankie Mangum Riggs

BAHAMA: Frankie Mangum Riggs, 88, died Thursday, January 18, 2018, at Duke Regional Hospital. She was born in Durham, the daughter of the late Edgar Mangum and Nora Duke Mangum. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Nancy Jacobs. Mrs. Riggs is survived by her husband of 69 years, James Kirkland Riggs; sons, Russell Riggs and wife Judy, Jay Riggs and wife Beth; daughter, Darlene Watson; grandchildren, Cam Watson, Chase Riggs, Scott Riggs and wife Jai, Melissa Jacobs and husband David and 7 great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 11am, Monday, January 22, at Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church Cemetery in Bahama, NC. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm, Sunday, January 21 at Clements Funeral Home in Durham. The family is being assisted by Clements Funeral Service, Inc. in Durham.
