(Hawthorne) Marler, 79 are scheduled for 10:00 A.M., Monday, September 11, 2023 at the Ratliff City Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Johnston officiating.&nbsp; Interment will follow to Ratliff City Cemetery.&nbsp; Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Funeral Home of Ratliff City.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>Nancy was born August 14, 1944 in Wilburton, OK to the late Mr. Luther "Tooter" Hawthorne and Mrs. Alta Florence (Lucas) Young.&nbsp; She departed from this life In Duncan, OK on Wednesday, September 6, 2023.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>Nancy was raised in Wilburton, attending school there.&nbsp; She married the late Mr. Lowell Leon Marler on September 1, 1962 in Wilburton moving to this area in 1966.&nbsp; Nancy worked for the Healdton Nursing Home for many years, later working for the Countyline Post Office.&nbsp; She enjoyed going dancing, camping, and going to Native Festivals.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>Preceding her in death were her parents; stepfather, Jack E. Young; husband, Lowell Leon Marler on September 27, 2008; spouse, Monk Firestone; and a sister, Jean McAnally.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>Nancy is survived by her son, Lowell Michael Marler and wife Shannon of Oklahoma City; bonus daughters, Ginger and Belinda; bonus son, Marty; sister, Dorothy Hayes and husband Willie of Ada; grandchildren, Lowell Dustin Marler of Countyline, Tiffany Rachelle Tidwell and Ryan Seessengood of Colorado, AdaLynn Nicole Marler, Allie Lynn Ramming, Hannah, John and Julie Lute; great grandchildren, Brylan Marler, Bryson Tidwell, Cayson Tidwell, Lanson Tidwell, Jaxson Lute, and Serenity; and by a host of other family and friends.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>Pallbearers will be Bryson Tidwell, Cayson Tidwell, Brylan Marler, Charles Carr, Allen Firestone, and Lanson Tidwell.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>Visitation will be held Sunday evening from 2-4 P.M. at Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Ratliff City.</p><p>Memories may be shared online at www.alexandergrayfh.com.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><iframe scrolling="no" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="allowfullscreen" allow="autoplay; fullscreen" height="330" width="512" src="https://www.tributeslides.com/videos/embedded_video/3TFCJXKRPJWJZ7T6" class="ts_player"></iframe></p>

Ratliff City - Funeral Services for Mrs. Nancy D. (Hawthorne) Marler, 79 are scheduled for 10:00 A.M., Monday, September 11, 2023 at the Ratliff City Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Johnston officiating.  Interment will follow to Ratliff City Cemetery.  Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Funeral Home of Ratliff City. 


Nancy was born August 14, 1944 in Wilburton, OK to the late Mr. Luther "Tooter" Hawthorne and Mrs. Alta Florence (Lucas) Young.  She departed from this life In Duncan, OK on Wednesday, September 6, 2023. 


Nancy was raised in Wilburton, attending school there.  She married the late Mr. Lowell Leon Marler on September 1, 1962 in Wilburton moving to this area in 1966.  Nancy worked for the Healdton Nursing Home for many years, later working for the Countyline Post Office.  She enjoyed going dancing, camping, and going to Native Festivals.

Pallbearers will be Bryson Tidwell, Cayson Tidwell, Brylan Marler, Charles Carr, Allen Firestone, and Lanson Tidwell. 


Visitation will be held Sunday evening from 2-4 P.M. at Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Ratliff City.
