Librado Juarez Mosqueda Obituary

Librado ‘Lee’ Juarez Mosqueda Jr. was called to heaven on September 4, 2023 surrounded by his family. Born and raised in Angleton on July 11, 1940 to Librado Mosqueda Sr. and Petra Sebiel.

He met the love of his life, Elida Mosqueda, and the two were married on June 06, 1959 and remained together for 64 years. Together they had six children Alfred, David, Debra, Librado ‘LilLee’ III, Robert, and Barbara. Lee worked and retired from a local newspaper as a cameraman and pressman. He was honored to be a lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus council 5155, was a proud 4th degree Knight, and a member of the Sociedades Guadalupanas. Lee was a proud owner of a local bar Club De Lisa for 18 years. Lee had a love of sports as a devoted Houston Astros and Dallas Cowboy fan, as a young man he played many seasons as an Angleton Indians team member. He was a beloved part of the community spending countless hours calling BINGO numbers at the KC hall, working in the church garden, and helping his wife every Halloween pass out candy apples to the local trick-or-treaters. His loving heart and generosity went unmatched in how willing he was to help anyone in need. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his family and friends, his face would light up a room when he was around those he loved. One of his favorite things was dancing to tejano music with his wife. Lee was a God-fearing man and enjoyed doing work that made him feel closer to God. As our hearts here on earth are hurting, his heart is rejoicing as he was able to take his walk with God and be reunited with loved ones.

Preceded in death by his parents, Librado Mosqueda Sr. and Petra Sebiel. His brothers Joe, Genero, Benino, Irineo ‘Curly’ Mosqueda. His sisters Susana Mosqueda and Connie Luna. His son Alfred Mosqueda, daughter Debra Lerma, and granddaughter Tiffany Gonzales.
