PHYLLIS MIDDLETON, 65, of 503 S. Heaton Street, Morrison, IL, died Wednesday, May 16, 2007, at Four Seasons Living Center, Morrison, IL. Phyllis was born November 12, 1941 in Morrison to Joseph and Nellie (Tenboer) DeVries. She was educated in Fenton grade schools in Fenton, IL and attended Erie High School in Erie, IL. She married Eugene W. Middleton on November 9, 1960 in Morrison. She ran a day care in her home for ten years. She was a member of First Reformed Church in Fulton and after moving to Morrison, she became a member of Emmanuel Reformed Church. Survivors include her husband, Eugene; one daughter, Jane Buikema of Morrison and one son, Gary (Beth) Middleton of Morrison; three grandchildren, Michael and Nicholas Buikema and Kelsey Middleton. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Kathryn Waterstreet.
