Millinocket - David E. Pelkey, 77, passed on July 22, 2023 in Millinocket with his family by his side. David was born August 3, 1946 in Millinocket the son of Eugene and Edith (Fortine) Pelkey.

He loved woodworking, painting, and reading.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years Evelyn (McLain). One daughter Tally (Jamie) Herring of Millinocket. Five grandchildren Brett Herring, Cody Herring, Alisa Pelkey, Alexis Lowe, Kaydence Pelkey. Four great-grandchildren Theo, Jackson, Calvin, Aleah. One sister Jessica (Billy) Rosebush of E. Millinocket.

David was predeceased by his parents Eugene and Edith Pelkey, One son David E. Pelkey Jr., One daughter Laura Pelkey, one brother Herman Pelkey, and grandparents Fred and Laura Fortine.

A graveside funeral service will be held at E. Millinocket cemetery Monday Aug 1st, 2023, at 10 A.M. with Fr. Savio officiating. Arrangements made by Bowers Funeral Home.
