Mary Ruth Barrett, age 80 of Woodbury, Tennessee passed away on Friday, June 9, 2023 at Alive Hospice in Murfreesboro, TN.

Mary was born Tuesday, April 27, 1943 in Florence, Alabama. She was the daughter of the late John Thomas and Alice Peral Wampler Bunch. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, W.T. Barrett, daughter, Rachael Jeanette McCormick, grandson, Michael Anderson and her brothers and sisters.

Mrs. Barrett is survived by her daughter, Jackie Womack of McMinnville, TN; son, Roger Womack of McMinnville, TN; daughter and son-in-law, Angie and Leon Tate of McMinnville, TN; daughter and son-in-law, Annette and Scottie Anderson of Beachgrove, TN; son and daughter-in-law, James Gregory and Debbie Davis of Ohio; 18 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and friends also survive.

Mary enjoyed baking and being a homemaker, she was a member of the Baptist Church.

A Funeral Service will be held 12:00 noon Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at Gardens of Memory Funeral Home with Jerry Womack officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Warren County.

The family will receive friends 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 13, 2023 and again Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 12:00 noon at Gardens of Memory Funeral Home.
