David W. Fyffe

age 67 of Camden, Ohio, went to be with the Lord on June 3, 2023.  Dave was born on June 24, 1955, in Dayton, Ohio, to the late Willard (Bud) Fyffe and Sarah Fyffe (Johnson).  In addition to his parents, Dave was preceded in death by his step-father, Edward (Ted) Johnson; father-in-law, Rev. James Armstrong, brother-in-law, Douglas Armstrong; nephew, Matthew Armstrong and brother-in-law, Ronald Pugh.

Dave is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Patricia, who he married on September 9, 1972.  In addition, he is survived by his two children, Candi (Rob) Turpin of Eaton, and Robin (Todd) Benthien of Pleasant Plain, Ohio; his beloved grandchildren, Calvin (Brianna) Leeth, Harlie (Nathan) Favorite, Sofia Leeth, Owen Benthien, and Hudson Benthien; his sister, Patricia Pugh; his mother-in-law, Pearl Armstrong; half brother, Edward Johnson; and numerous family members, including The Lovely Family and Marilyn Pence.

Dave was a 1973 graduate of Preble Shawnee High School and a member of First Southern Baptist Church of Camden.  Dave was an over-the-road truck driver for most of his life but found joy in finding "deals" with his long-time friend, Dud Lovely.  His definite favorites were his five grandchildren who affectionately called him "Pap".

The family will receive friends Friday, June 9 from 11AM to 1PM at First Southern Baptist Church, 35 N. Liberty St., Camden, Ohio 45311.  The funeral service will begin at 1PM with Pastor Greg Jackson officiating.  Burial will follow at Fairmount Cemetery, Camden.
