Gerhardt Tobeschat
<p>Gerhardt Tobeschat, a long-time resident of Cortlandt Manor, NY, and former resident of the Bronx, passed away on June 3, 2023, at the age of 74.</p><p><br></p><p>Mr. Tobeschat was born in 1948, in Austria, to Gunther and Hilda Tobeschat. He graduated DeWitt Clinton High School, Bronx, NY, in 1966, and went on to work as a bus driver for the NYCTA in Queens, NY, until his retirement in 1997. In 1972, he married Rosalyn S. Wolfe in Bronx, NY. She predeceased him in 1994.</p><p><br></p><p>Mr. Tobeschat is survived by his daughter Donna Limardo, her husband Richard and their daughter Alyssa of Cortlandt Manor, NY, his daughter Jennifer Newman, her husband Tom and their children Cassidy, Tommy and Cooper, of Somers, NY, and his son John Tobeschat, his wife Nicole and their children Taylor and Connor of Cortlandt Manor, NY.</p><p><br></p><p>He will be remembered for his love of helping others as well as his great sense of humor.</p><p><br></p><p>Memorial contributions may be made to: St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
