Chester - Harvey A. Jordan 92 died May 30, 2023 in Howland. He was born May 17, 1931 in Woodville, the son of Pearl and Elvira (Fleming) Jordan. Harvey enjoyed farming, hunting and fishing. He retired from Lincoln Pulp and Paper after 38 years. He is survived by his wife of 72 years Clarice (Milner) Jordan of Chester, one son, Alan and his wife Lisa Jordan of Chester, two grandchildren, Gregory and his wife Jessica Jordan of Chester and Whitney Jordan of Levant. Three great grandchildren, Riley, Warren, and Adrianne, and two sisters, Shirley and her husband, William “a close brother in law” Thurlow of Winn and Lorraine Leavitt of Millinocket. He was predeceased by his parents and brothers Lawrence, Samuel, and Calvin and one sister Kay. A graveside funeral service will be held Saturday, June 10 at 2 PM at the South Chester Cemetery.
