Delores E. (Lambert) Horn, 89, of West Fargo, died on Friday, June 2, 2023, at Eventide Sheyenne Crossings, West Fargo.

   Delores Elaine Lambert was born Oct. 2, 1933 in Aldrich, MN to John and Olga (Hill) Lambert.

   She graduated from Verndale High School in 1951, worked for First National Bank in Minneapolis until May 1953.
   She married LeRoy Robert Horn on May 15, 1953. They lived in Fargo until the tornado of 1953 when they moved to West Fargo.

   Delores worked for NDSU from July 1956 until July of 1997, where she was presented with the Blue Key Dr of service award in 1985.

   She was active in the VFW Auxiliary #7564 where she was president from 1962-1964. She was also very active in her church Community Presbyterian Church, West Fargo, ND, where she served several terms as elder and on various other committees.

   She loved gardening, canning, reading and cooking.

   She is survived by her daughter Kristi (Damien) Dixon, Weatherby Lake, MO and their children, Grant, Evan, and Elizabeth. Brother-in-law Richard Horn, New England, ND. Many nieces and nephews and their families.

   She was preceded in death, her husband, LeRoy, daughter and son-in-law, Vickie, and Lyle Grossnickle, her parents, brothers, Darrell (Lucille) and John (Virginia). Sisters, Shirley (Joe) Vasquez and Audrey (Lewis) Jensen. 

   The family requests that memorials be given to Community Presbyterian Church, West Fargo, ND.

   Visitation: Wednesday, June 21, 2023, from 10-11 a.m., in Community Presbyterian Church, West Fargo.

   Funeral: Wednesday, June 21, 2023, at 11:00 in the Community Presbyterian Church, West Fargo.

   Burial: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Fargo, ND.
