<p>Funeral services for Louetta Bice Cates, 79, of Alto will be Friday at 11AM in the Campground Missionary Baptist Church near Alto with Steve Parker and Floyd Simpson officiating.&nbsp; Burial will be in the Lynches Chapel Cemetery. Mrs. Cates passed away Wednesday, May 31 at her home in Alto. She was born November 13, 1943 in Houston, Texas to Arlie Roy Bice Sr. and Henry Etta Wiggins Bice. Louetta had lived in the Lynches Chapel Community near Alto for many years and had worked for the Rusk State Hospital and TDCJ. She was a member of the Campground Missionary Baptist Church and loved listening to music, visiting with friends and family and especially her great grandchildren. Louetta was preceded in death by her parents and by husband John W. “Billy” Cates. She is survived by daughters Melanie Parker of Alto and Deborah Burrows, brother Arlie Roy Bice Jr of Jacksonville, grandchildren Alyssa Dominy, Christopher McAllister, Selena Cabrera (Jacob) and Emily Parker, great grandchildren Jaxon Cabrera, Aiden Cabrera, Colin Cabrera, Gabby Cabrera, Amelia Rhoadarmor and Iris Rhoadarmor, nephew Arlie Roy Bice III (Julie) and special friends Nelta Moake, Patricia Koperski, Ruby Hernandez and Don Sherman. Pallbearers will be family and friends. There will be a visitation time between 10 AM and service time Friday at the church. The family wishes to thank all the special caregivers at Hospice of East Texas. </p>
