<p>Anna May Petitti died peacefully on May 31, 2023. She was 91.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>The daughter of the late Frank and Martha Ellison, Anna was born October 2, 1931 in the town of Deerpark, NY.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>Anna worked and retired from the Port Jervis Board of Education having served as the office manager and also serving as School Tax Collector. She was a longtime member of St. Mary’s RC Church of Port Jervis. She was an active member for many years with AARP in Port Jervis, having served also as their treasurer. In addition to what she did in life, her family will remember her as the wonderful Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, and Great, Great Grandmother that she was. She will be greatly missed.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>In addition to her parents, she was predeceased in life by her husband Julio Petitti, and her siblings, Janet Cherry and Buddy Ellison.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>She is survived by her daughter Joanne Duffield and her husband William of Levittown, PA, Andrew Petitti of Port Jervis, and Jeffrey Petitti of Mountain Home, Idaho. She leaves behind her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great, great grandchildren to cherish her memory.</p><p><br></p><p>Services are private, Anna will be buried in the family plot at St. Mary's Cemetery, Port Jervis as she wished. </p><p><br></p><p>Please take advantage of the Tribute Wall by leaving a memory or condolence for the family.</p>
