Mary T. Growney, nee De Courcey, age 68, of Naperville, IL, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at Edward Hospital surrounded by her family. She was born December 31, 1946 in Dumbarton, Scotland to the loving parents, Mary and the late John De Courcey. Beloved wife of John L. Growney, wedded for 50 years. Loving mom of Eric (Patricia) Growney of Naperville, Karen Carinci of Naperville, IL and Brian (Carrie) Growney of Crystal Lake, IL. Adored Nana of Hannah, Maureen, Sophia, Colleen, James, Shayla, and Maelyn. Fond sister of Patricia O'Connor and Kathleen De Courcey. Dear aunt of many nieces and nephews. Mary was a 1964 graduate of Providence High School, Chicago. She was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Church. Mary's passion was her children and grandchildren.
