Daniel Hartley of Commerce Township was born October 2, 1947 in Roseville, Michigan to Joseph Daymon and Elizabeth (nee: Laethem) Hartley. He died May 31, 2023 at the age of 75.

Mr. Hartley is the beloved husband of 43 years to Susan. Loving father of Laura Hartley, Joseph (Michelle) Hartley and Greg (Jennifer) Hartley. Grandfather of Raquel, William, Ava, Layla, Aiden, Ava, Ivy and Jax. Dear brother of Daymon (Margaret), David (Wendy), Dennis (Denise), Darlene, Douglas (Rhonda), Denise and the late Debbie (Bob). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

“Dan The Man” loved motorcycles and living on the lake. He also enjoyed tinkering, growing his garden and spoiling his grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held at Lynch & Sons Funeral Home, 340 North Pontiac Trail, Walled Lake (3 Blks. S. of Maple Rd.) Tuesday 11 AM. Friends may visit Tuesday10 AM until time of service. Memorials to the Kids Kicking Cancer appreciated.
