<p>Philip W. Lingerfelt, 68, of Powdersville, SC passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 30, 2023. He was born in York, SC to the late Della Turner Lingerfelt and Clarence Hayes Lingerfelt (Shirley).</p><p><br></p><p>Philip graduated from York High School, Class of 1972. During his career he worked as a farmhand, mechanic and truck driver. In his spare time he enjoyed hunting and fishing, but his greatest joy was spending time with his family.</p><p><br></p><p>Philip is survived by his loving partner and wife of 21 years, Susan Faith Lingerfelt; daughters, Kimberly Reed and Tiffany Lingerfelt; sons, Timothy and James Lingerfelt; stepdaughter, Jessica Merritt; grandchildren: Trey Johnson, Thomas and Austin Laney, and McKenzie, TJ and Zachary; two great-grandchildren; sisters, Valerie Goble (Bobby) and Donna Summey (Bobby); brothers: Rocky Lingerfelt (Betty), Johnny Lingerfelt (Chastity), and Wayne Lingerfelt (Karen); Amie Peters, who was like a daughter; dear friend and hunting partner, Kari Ditmars; and many nieces, nephews, other extended family members, friends, and loved ones.</p><p><br></p><p>A Celebration of Philip's Life will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, June 4, 2023 at Southside Baptist Church, 15 Southside Cir., Piedmont, SC 29673.
