<p>CHANCY, KENNETH RAY&nbsp;of Waterford, passed away May 29, 2023, at&nbsp;65&nbsp;years of age. Kenneth was born on&nbsp;October&nbsp;25, 1957, in Pontiac, Michigan to loving parents, the late Charles Luther and&nbsp;Eunice&nbsp;Dawn Chancy(Costello).&nbsp;Dearest brother of Lesley (Timothy) Banycky, Cheryl (Jesse)&nbsp;Ledesma, and the late Denise Chancy;&nbsp;&nbsp;cherished&nbsp;"Uncle Kenny"&nbsp;of Kiley, Zachary,&nbsp;Jesse, and Andre. Kenneth graduated from Pontiac Central High School in 1975,&nbsp;followed by a period of service in the United States Marine Corps.&nbsp;&nbsp;He&nbsp;retired after spending&nbsp;well over&nbsp;thirty&nbsp;years as a mechanic. He truly loved to&nbsp;work&nbsp;on vehicles in&nbsp;his garage,&nbsp;hang out with friends at the American Legion or VFW,&nbsp;and&nbsp;drive around town with his faithful husky companion, Balto.&nbsp;Kenneth will be deeply missed by all.&nbsp;A memorial&nbsp;service will be held on Thursday, June 8th at 11 AM at&nbsp;All Saints Episcopal Church (171 W Pike St, Pontiac).&nbsp;The family will accept visitors beginning at 10 AM in the Rose Kneale Room.&nbsp;In lieu of flowers,&nbsp;the&nbsp;family requests&nbsp;donations be&nbsp;made to&nbsp;VFW post 1370 or&nbsp;American Legion&nbsp;Post 377 Chief Pontiac </p>

CHANCY, KENNETH RAY of Waterford, passed away May 29, 2023, at 65 years of age. Kenneth was born on October 25, 1957, in Pontiac, Michigan to loving parents, the late Charles Luther and Eunice Dawn Chancy(Costello). Dearest brother of Lesley (Timothy) Banycky, Cheryl (Jesse) Ledesma, and the late Denise Chancy;  cherished "Uncle Kenny" of Kiley, Zachary, Jesse, and Andre. Kenneth graduated from Pontiac Central High School in 1975, followed by a period of service in the United States Marine Corps.  He retired after spending well over thirty years as a mechanic.
