Henrique Pereira Nunes, 94, passed away on May 30, 2023 at Grace Barker Nursing Center.  He was the husband of the late Silvina (Texeira) Nunes.  

Born in Faial, Azores, Portugal, he was the son of the late Francisco and Maria do Ceu Pereira.  He was the brother of Cecilia Pinheiro and the late Maria Terra, Manuel Nunes, Jose Nunes and Francisco Nunes.

Mr. Nunes was educated in Portugal and employed by Robin Rug before retiring.

Calling hours will be held Friday, June 2nd, 7:30 – 8:30 AM at the George Lima Funeral Home, 367 High Street with a Mass of Christian Burial, 9AM at St. Elizabeth’s Church, 577 Wood Street. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
