Nancy Jo Ella (Pollock) Willsey

82, of Camden, went to be with the Lord, Monday, May 29, 2023.

She was born August 9, 1940, in Camden, to the late Henry R. and Eulo (Duggins) Pollock.

In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, William E. Willsey; and siblings Imagene Rader, Ruby Rader, Darlene Pollock, Eunice Mattix, and Letha Faye Unbstead.

She is survived by her son, William Willsey, and his wife, Jodi; daughter, Denise Roell, and her husband, Bob; grandchildren, Rob Roell, Craig Roell, Kristen Kaiser, Sarah Taylor, Brannon Willsey, and Jordan Willsey; 11 great grandchildren; siblings, Rita Hasse, Robert Pollock, and Barbara Hokey; and many more family and friends.

Nancy's life was a testament to the power of kindness and empathy. Her love for her pets, particularly her beloved dog, Cinnamon, knew no bounds. She provided them with a home filled with love, care, and endless cuddles, as they brought immeasurable joy and companionship to her life. Nancy's nurturing nature extended beyond her four-legged friends and touched the lives of all those she encountered.  Nancy was known for her unwavering willingness to help those in need. She had a heart that overflowed with compassion, always going the extra mile to lend a helping hand or offer support to anybody facing adversity. Her generosity knew no bounds, and her acts of kindness served as a shining example for us all.

A lover of the open road, Nancy found solace in taking drives, simply to embrace the freedom and beauty of the world around her. One of her favorite destinations was Amish Country, where she would marvel at the picturesque landscapes and immerse herself in the rich cultural heritage of the Amish community. These drives provided her with moments of peace and reflection, a respite from the demands of everyday life.

Nancy's culinary talents were renowned, and her baking skills were truly exceptional. She had a gift for creating delectable coconut cream and banana cream pies that left everyone who tasted them in awe. Her kitchen was a place of warmth and love, where the aroma of freshly baked goodies filled the air. Her friends and family were fortunate to be recipients of her culinary creations, which brought smiles and contentment to all who had the pleasure of savoring them.

Above all else, Nancy treasured her great grandbabies, and they were the apple of her eye. Their laughter and innocent joy brought immense happiness to her heart. She cherished every moment spent with them, watching them grow and creating cherished memories that will forever be etched in the fabric of her legacy.

The family would give the staff of Woodland Country Manor a special “thank you” for the great care they took of Nancy.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, June 1 at 11AM at Hopewell Cemetery, 6471 Camden College Corner Rd, College Corner, OH 45003 with Pastor Greg Jackson officiating.
