Kathryn Branham Nickoson Obituary

Kathryn Branham Nickoson, 83, of Ridgeway passed away on Tuesday, May 30, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.  Born in Ridgeway, Kathryn was the daughter of the late Leslie and Willie Kelly Branham. 

She was a faithful member of Sawney’s Creek Baptist Church and member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary.

Kathryn is survived by her two sons, Anthony Branham (Gail), and Paul W. Nickoson, Jr. (Sissy); three daughters, Sharon Boney, Irish Ann Boney (Sammy Rowe), and Susan Renee Rowe (Sonny Sr.); brother, Larry Branham; sister, Robbie Lee Williams; nine grandchildren, Gregg Branham, Sonny James Rowe, Jr., Paul Zachary Rowe, Diamond Nichole Nickoson, Matthew Wayne Nickoson, Arish Rowe Griner, Autumn Jewel Rowe, Patrick Lynch, and LeAnna Flores; eighteen great grandchildren; her four legged fur baby Rusty and many loving nieces and nephews. 

In addition to her parents, and husband of 56 years Paul W. Nickoson, Sr., Kathryn is predeceased by four brothers, Jasper Branham, Grady Branham, Raymond Branham, and Dick Branham; and two sisters, Juanita Rutland, and Betty Branham. 

The Pall Bearers are; Sonny James Rowe, Jr., Paul Zachary Rowe, Matthew Wayne Nickoson, Joshua Garran Revels, Carlin Alexander Jeffcoat and Patrick Lynch.

Honorary Pall Bearers are; Gregg Branham, Johnny Peake, Jackie Mattox, Danny Conyers, Paul Edward Wiseman.

Thank you to Dr. Jeremy Ambroziak and Heart of Hospice for your love and compassion through this difficult time. A special thank you to Kaley and Debra from Heart of Hospice and also Kathy Branham, we could not have made it through this difficult time without her by our side with helping hands.

The family will receive friends for visitation one hour before the service at 10:00 am in the church. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, June 2, 2023 , at Sawney’s Creek Baptist Church conducted by Reverend Dean Reynolds.  Burial will follow in the old Sawney’s Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Kathryn’s memory to Sawneys Creek Baptist Church.
