It is with great sadness, that we announce the passing of our beloved brother, uncle, and friend, Ken Code on May 28, 2023 at Long Lake Valley Integrated Facility, Imperial, Saskatchewan.

Kenneth James Lewis Code was born to George and Annie (McCrea) Code along with his identical twin brother Don on the family farm at Stalwart, Saskatchewan on November 19. 1939.

Ken attended school at Imperial up to grade 7.

He worked and lived in many places across Canada. He tried his hand at many jobs, including: farm hand, mining, oil patch, road construction, but later settled on long haul trucking through out North America and local grain hauling.

Ken’s true passion was people. He loved people. He was blessed with the gift of the gab. He was always on the go, offering a helping hand to his family, friends neighbours and strangers. Ken touched many lives with his kind and caring heart.

He enjoyed a good game of cribbage, hunting, golfing, traveling the back roads and listening to country music.

Ken was predeceased by his parents, George and Annie Code and his infant sister Margaret; sisters Rita (Jack) Ives and Sandra (Brian) Federspiel; brothers Bob Code, Ray Code and his best friend Don Code; brothers-in-law Dave Reeves and James Rintoul.

Left to cherish his memory: sisters Marie Reeves and Vi Rintoul; brothers Mervin (Diane) Code, David (Jacque) Code; sisters-in-law Sophie Code and Audrey Code; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Family wish to extend a special Thank You to all the staff at Long Lake Valley Integrated Facility in Imperial.
