Bridgewater - Judith “Judy” Trecartin, 76, passed away Friday, May 26. 2023, at the Aroostook House of Comfort, with her family at her side. She was born May 17, 1947, in Mars Hill, the daughter of Harold and Eleta (Collins) Fletcher.

Judy grew up in Mars Hill and graduated from the Aroostook Central Institute in 1965. On July 29, 1966, Judy married Richard “Diddy” Trecartin, and they would share fifty-six years of marriage and raise their three children. She was employed at the Aroostook Health Center in Mars Hill for thirty years, where she was a supervisor for housekeeping and laundry. Judy also worked as a CNA for four years at Madigan Estates in Houlton.

In her spare time Judy loved watching game shows and playing dominoes. She was known for her smile and laugh as well as her sense of humor. She also loved her dogs, Wally, and Diesel and her six fur-grand babies, Jack, Lucifer, Tang, Frazier, Panther and Milkshake.

She is survived by her husband, Richard Trecartin, three children, Richard G. Trecartin, Joe Trecartin and his wife, Sheana, Tanya Bernstein and her husband, Paul, and her sister, Heidi Woodworth. Judy also leaves three grandchildren, John Trecartin, Jessica Bernstein, Chelsea Vuong, four nieces, Holly, Jenny, Kristina, and Kelsey, as well as two nephews, Karter and William. In addition to her parents, Judy was predeceased by her brother, Murray Fletcher.

Relatives and friends are invited to call 1-4PM Saturday, June 10, 2023, at Duncan Funeral Home.
