Ruby Kay Ashby Dabney, age 86 formally of Princeton, passed away on Friday, May 26, 2023 in South Bend, IN.

Ruby was born on December 15, 1936 in Princeton to the late Woodrow and Virginia Blalock Ashby. Ruby was the owner of The Lighting Gallery in Lourel, MS. She enjoyed crocheting and loved spending time with her family.

Ruby is survived by three sons, Jonathan Dabney, Wesley ( Lisa) Dabney and Lesley Dabney; one sister, Cynthia Ashby; four grandchildren, Macey Dabney, Sophia Dabney, Amber Dabney and Helena Dabney.

In addition to her parents, Ruby is preceded in death by her husband, Ray Dabney; sister, Judy Franklin; brother, Woodrow Ashby Jr.

A memorial visitation will be held Saturday, June 3, 2023 from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm at Morgan's Funeral Home.

A memorial graveside service will be held Saturday, June 3, 2023 at 12:15 pm at Dorr-Orange Cemetery in Caldwell County.
