<p>Robert Sayles, known affectionately as Bob, passed away on Monday, May 29, 2023, Memorial Day, at the age of 77. He was a loving husband, devoted father, cherished brother and a respected member of his community. Bob will be remembered for his unwavering dedication to his family, his exceptional skills as a salesman and his distinguished service as a war veteran.</p><p><br></p><p>Born on November 18, 1945, Bob grew up in a close-knit family alongside his siblings Bill, Linda, Maureen, Barbara, Rite and Tom. As a young man, he felt the call to serve his country and bravely enlisted in the armed forces. Bob’s time in the military shaped him into a decorated war veteran, and his service will forever be honored and remembered as a Vietnam veteran.</p><p><br></p><p>After his military career, Bob embarked on a successful professional journey as a salesman. He found his true passion at Casanova Remodeling Company LLC, where he excelled as a sales professional, becoming the best in his field. Bob’s exceptional skills, unwavering work ethic and charismatic personality made him highly regarded among his colleagues and client alike. His dedication and commitment to his job were evident to all who worked with him.</p><p><br></p><p>However, Bob’s greatest source of pride and joy was his family. He shared a deep and loving bond with his wife, Elizabeth Wallace, who stood by his side throughout their years together. Bob’s children, Michele, Cheryl, Teresa, Robert, Danny, Corey, Casey, Codey and Amanda, were the lights of his life. He cherished every moment spent with them, and his love and support were immeasurable. Bob’s role as a father and a provider was one he embraced with great passion and devotion.</p><p><br></p><p>Outside of his professional and family life, Bob enjoyed several hobbies. He had a keen skill for playing pool and poker, often engaging in friendly competitions with friends and family. Sports held a special place in his heart, and he took great pleasure in watching games and supporting his favorite teams. </p><p><br></p><p>Among Bob’s closest friends was his boss and confidant, John Casanova. Their bond extended beyond the professional realm, as they developed a friendship built on trust, respect and shared experiences. Bob held John in high regard, and their friendship enriched both their personal and professional lives.</p><p><br></p><p>Robert Sayles will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy as a dedicated family man, accomplished salesman and honorable war veteran will live on, inspiring generations to come.
