<p>Bernard J. "Bernie" Klemann, 75 of St Petersburg Florida passed away May 21,2023 at Largo Medical Hospital.</p><p>Born July 4,1947 at Miners Hospital in Spangler Pa, he was the son of Bernard and Anna (Kober) Klemann. Proceeded in death by his parents, infant brother Bernard, brother Earl (Edith) Klemann Patton Pa, sisters Eileen (Milton) Platko Patton Pa, Hellen Ann (Howard) Hover Patton, Pa, and Carolyn (James) Traiteur, Cahokia, Illinois.</p><p><br></p><p>Survived by loving wife of 54 years, Susan (Stauffer) Klemann, daughters Bridgette (Charles) Sicilia St. Petersburg Fl and Shaylynn (Glenn) Smith Hope Mills, North Carolina, Grandchildren Darien Suzanne Sicilia, Clearwater Fl, Travis Allen Smith and Devin Michael Smith Hope Mills, North Carolina. Bernie is also survived by many nieces and nephews.</p><p><br></p><p>Bernie was a veteran of the United States Army, after the military, Bernie worked as a General Assistant Mine Forman for Barnes and Tucker 24B coal mines in Nicktown, Pa where he was employed there for 22 years.</p><p><br></p><p>Bernie and his family moved to St Petersburg Florida where he was a small business owner and worked as a Project manager for Wharton &amp; Smith Mechanical Piping Company for 32 years.</p><p><br></p><p>Bernie was a devout Christian and a member at St Judas Cathedral in St Petersburg Fl. His love for God his family was paramount. His grandchildren where the light of his life as were his daughters. Bernie was an animal lover, he adored his Shelties Lola and Darby and spent a lot of time with them after retirement.</p><p><br></p><p>He was an avid muscle car enthusiast, a Tampa Bay Ray's baseball fan along with the Pittsburg Steelers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers fan. Bernie was a gentle and kind man who never had an unkind word to say about anyone. He was loved by many for his sweet and kind disposition, he was truly loved and will be greatly missed by all.</p><p><br></p><p>A Funeral Mass will be at Noon on Saturday, July 8, 2023 at the Cathedral of St. Jude.<br></p><p></p>
