Jack Dean Allen of Heber Springs, Arkansas passed away Saturday, May 27, 2023. He was born December 22, 1933, in Decatur, Illinois to Wilbur Allen and Florence Waymire Allen.

Jack served his country proudly in the United States Marine Corps. Spending time with his family brought him the greatest joy. Singing in the choir at church was something he really enjoyed. He also was a member of the First Baptist Church. His greatest love was his family. He will be lovingly remembered by them and all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Don Allen.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Doris Jean Allen, children; Denise Fraiser (Gene) of Cabot, Arkansas, Jack Allen, JR. of Heber Springs, Arkansas, grandchildren; Jennifer Dyson (Matthew) of Cabot, Arkansas, Jermmy Allen of Heber Springs, Arkansas, Nick Allen of Heber Springs, Arkansas, Brandon Allen of Heber Springs, Arkansas, Cody Bernhard (Kylie) stationed in California with the United States Navy, seven great-grandchildren, many other relatives, and friends.

Memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at Family Funeral Service chapel in Heber Springs, Arkansas with Reverend Matt Basford officiating.
