<p>Delores Jean Blair, 88, passed away, Tuesday, May 30, 2023 after a long illness. </p><p>Delores was born May 14, 1935, in New Hope, Kentucky to the late Virgil &amp; Alice (Miles) Clan. She was an avid U of L fan; the life of the party and Catholic by faith. Delores was outspoken, she loved scaring people and making them jump. She loved going to the country and visiting her childhood home. Delores enjoyed sitting outside and enjoying the weather. She will be missed by all who knew her. </p><p>Besides her parents she is preceded in death by six siblings, Darrell Clan, Joyce Fick, Janie Hardin, Susie Clan, Patty Salmon and Libby Vittitow; and four grandchildren. </p><p>Those left to cherish her memory are her eleven children, Lois A. Sheldon (Jeff), Linda Hale (Wayne), Mary Whitworth (Ronnie), Becky Wathen, Shirley Blair, Tony Blair, Debbie Wiersma (Randy), Brenda Blair, Harold Blair (Donna), Michael ‘Mike” Blair (Lisa), and Dawn Semien (Lionel); three brothers, Wayne, Jimmy and Kenny Clan (Cheryl); 28 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren. </p><p>Visitation will be held Friday, June 2, 2023 from 11:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m. and Saturday, June 3, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m. at Legacy Funeral Center-Schoppenhorst Chapel, 1832 W. Market Street. Funeral services will be held 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home on Saturday with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. </p>
